Perth Stadium to pump aquatic centre aromas through venue to boost hot chip sales

The cost of living is hitting everyone in the hip pocket, including WA’s premiere sporting stadium.

So in a novel attempt to boost hot chip sales, Perth Stadium will take some inspiration from an Aussie favourite.

It has been scientifically proven that the soothing smell of chlorine, humidity and piss creates a powerful scent bubble that makes an Aussie think about vinegary hot chips.

So, the solution is simple, pump a synthetic blend of this unique aroma through the Stadium and let our brains do the rest. We spoke to an aroma expert who said it was genius, adding,

“Yeah, that’s absolutely going to work, no question, even thinking about an aquatic centre makes me yearn for the salty, savoury bliss of hot chips, god DAMN they just taste better in that kind of environment”

Not everyone is convinced, however. With some parents saying they have a hard enough time telling their disgusting piggish children no as it is. Adding,

“At least make it a fair fight! Most people understand subtle sales tactics exist, but this is like bringing a nuke to the table, our little failures will be whinging at us all night as we try to cheer on the mighty Flagmantle”

That is a fair point to be sure.
