Qantas releases premium “you won’t end up in Karratha” fares for long-haul passengers

Qantas has smelt the sweet waft of opportunity after a second Dreamliner was forced to land in Karratha en route to Perth within a few years.

Knowing its fancypants long haul customers fear for their lives in the Pilbara stronghold, they have released premium fares which guarantee long haul customers that they won’t, in fact, end up in Karratha.

For just $5k extra, passengers can elect to get on a flight with enough fuel to get to Perth from London – and it’s proving very popular.

We spoke to a British toff visiting Australia to check on the colony, he told The Times,

“What must I tell Young William the 3rd if he’s exposed to the plebs in *pauses in disgust* the outback. Karratha is ghastly, I’ll gladly pay to bypass this hive of villainy and scum!”

The fares have obviously attracted their critics. With some suggesting Qantas profiting from the promise of the route people paid for in the first place is morally wrong.

Qantas has laughed off that suggestion and responded thusly,

“If you think this is the doggest act we’ve done then you really don’t know your Qantas history lol”

That’s about right.
