A TransPerth ferry has boldly gone about its business today despite Perth recording the coldest day of any City in the world, ever.
Alas, minutes into its classic journey from South Perth to Elizabath Quay, the ferry struck trouble after colliding with a full-blown Arctic iceberg.
We spoke to a witness on the ferry who said it was both surprising to see an iceberg and totally unsurprising given his peen has shrivelled to the size of a cocktail weenie all day, adding,
“It was like something out of a movie, we hit the iceberg and some rich kent was pushing the women & children out of the way to get to the rescue boat, we knew there wasn’t going to be room so I jumped in with this lady I’d had relations with in a car 30 minutes earlier”
While the lucky lady clung to the ferry door that had torn off in the collision, she deemed there was no room for old mate, which he wasn’t happy with, adding,
“There was room, anyone with fkn eyes can see there was room but, yeah, apparently I wasn’t up to par in the carpark lovin’ stakes so she was happy for me to freeze in the water! Happy anniversary to you too baby!”
Everyone is alright and safely back on shore. However, the ferry will have to undergo extensive repairs.
