American Eclipse Tourist Even More Confused About Which Side Of the Road To Drive On After 5 Mins On Indian Ocean Drive

An American eclipse hunter has been left more confused than ever after embarking on their trip Up North to Exmouth for the total solar eclipse.

Having made sure to bone up on the literature, Marlene was positive that she should drive on the left-hand side of the road. A tough habit to form after spending a lifetime driving on the right.

That’s until she spent approximately 2 hours driving Up North with Western Australians. While trying to desperately Google answers she told The Times,

“They just drive whichever side they want whenever they want? Where is the law & order on WA regional roads? I tell ya this wouldn’t happen in the great U S of A”

It appears that Marlene was confusing “traditional road law” with the eternal 5km battle to overtake a slow-moving piece of shit caravan which could, to an outsider, look like someone just driving on the wrong side of the road.

WA Police say they understand why Marlene was freaking out and has urged all American or European tourists to not follow the example the locals set. They also have a message for WA drivers,

“Pull your bloody heads in. The entire world will have its eyes on our eclipse and the last thing we need is for people to know the truth about our drivers. Please, for the sake of our reputation”
