WA reveals winning WA/SA border design after public consultation

Western Australia has revealed the long-awaited refresh of the WA/SA border sign in border village will include the Cockburn faces – a nod to one of Perth’s most iconic signage.

The Cockburn faces used to sit high above us at the Cockburn traino – always watching, always waiting, like supreme leaders watching over our pitiful, plebian pursuits.

Rumours always swirled about the identity of these portraited deities, with some believing they were missing persons and others thinking they were demons send through dimensions to eat souls of those road eScooters annoying at the hallowed shopping centre.

In reality, the answer is somewhere in between, they are just a composite of all the souls the Cockburn faces had eaten before creating themselves and appearing on the building one day.

It’s this kind of energy that makes them perfect for border village. A Westralia spokesperson told The Times,

“There is no border, there is no WA, there is no SA, there are just the supreme faces, all hail the Cockburn faces! The prophecy foretold their return, hail Cockburn faces!”,

Truly ominous and a good warning for anyone thinking of dragging Eastern State bullshit into our glorious state. We spoke to a Victorian caravaners what he thought,

“I had a real hunger on for a parma and a pot but after spotting the creepy old Western Australian lady I suddenly felt like a parmi and a middie, I was reborn in their glory, I am now their faithful subject, how much bloody vic bias is in the footy these days too!”

Good boy.
